KuardioPrivacy Policy
Kuardio collects no data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The developer never receives your readings or any other information about you.
Your blood pressure readings
Kuardio receives readings directly from your QardioArm cuff over Bluetooth on your iPhone. With your permission it saves them to Apple Health (blood pressure, pulse, and the tags and notes you add). It also reads blood pressure and heart rate from Apple Health to show your history, trends and reports. This data stays in Apple Health on your devices and in your Health iCloud backup, under your control. Kuardio never sends Health data anywhere, never uses it for advertising, and never shares it with anyone.
Settings and reminders
Your app settings, reminder times and report presets are stored on your iPhone and, if iCloud is on, synced through your private iCloud account so they follow you to your other devices. Only you can access that data; the developer cannot. Personal health information (your report profile, such as date of birth and notes for your doctor, and the optional visitor log) is kept only on your iPhone and is never synced to iCloud.
Reports you share
When you create a PDF or CSV report, it's created on your iPhone. It goes only where you choose to send it, for example to your doctor via Mail or Messages.
Purchases
Optional donation subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. The developer receives no payment details, only Apple's standard anonymous sales reports.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth is used only to connect to your QardioArm cuff while Kuardio is open. It isn't used to locate you.
This website
kuardio.com uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, and loads nothing from third parties. It is hosted by GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security; see the GitHub Privacy Statement. If you email us, your message is used only to answer you.
Children
Kuardio does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Medical disclaimer
Kuardio is a wellness logging app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice.
