Help with Kuardio for iPhone and your QardioArm

Need help? Email contact@kuardio.com. Please include your iPhone model, iOS version and what you see on screen. Kuardio is made by one person, so an answer can take a few days.

Getting started

Kuardio needs an iPhone with iOS 26 or later and a QardioArm (model A100 or QardioArm 2). Kuardio is not affiliated with Qardio.

  1. Open Kuardio and allow Apple Health access for blood pressure and heart rate.
  2. Unroll the cuff to switch it on, keep it close to your iPhone and allow Bluetooth when asked.
  3. When the Measure screen shows Ready with the battery level, put the cuff on and tap START.

The cuff isn't found

"Pairing problem"

  1. Unroll the cuff to switch it on.
  2. With a paper clip, press the button in the small pinhole on the battery cover. A green light shines through.
  3. On your iPhone, open Settings › Bluetooth. If QardioARM is listed, tap ⓘ and choose Forget This Device.
  4. Return to Kuardio and tap Try again. If iPhone asks to pair with QardioARM, tap Pair.

"Measurement interrupted"

The cuff stops as soon as it senses movement, and Kuardio tells you straight away. Sit with your back supported and feet flat, rest your arm on a table at heart level, don't talk, and tap Measure again. Kuardio counts down 10 seconds so you can settle.

Readings aren't in Apple Health

Open the Health app › your profile › Apps › Kuardio and turn on Blood Pressure and Heart Rate. Visitor-mode readings are never saved to Health. Readings from other apps in Apple Health, including ones the old Qardio app saved there, appear in Kuardio's history too.
