KuardioTerms of Use
Kuardio is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). The points below explain how it applies to Kuardio. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA wins.
What Kuardio is
Kuardio is a free iPhone app that connects to a QardioArm blood pressure monitor you own, starts measurements, and stores the results in Apple Health. It is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Qardio, Inc. "QardioArm" is a trademark of its owner and is used only to describe compatibility.
Not a medical device
Kuardio is a wellness logging app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease and does not give medical advice. The values come from your cuff. Reference categories are taken from published guidelines and are shown for information only. Always talk to your doctor about your blood pressure and your treatment, and don't change medication based on the app. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Donation subscriptions
- Every feature of Kuardio is free. Optional VIP Donor and Family VIP Donor subscriptions are donations to support development. They unlock only cosmetic extras, such as alternate app icons, accent colours and a supporter badge.
- Available periods: 1 month, 6 months and 1 year. Family plans are yearly and can be shared with Family Sharing. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone, or in Kuardio › Settings › Support Kuardio › Manage subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Your data
Kuardio collects no data. How your readings and settings are stored is described in the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
Kuardio is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as described in the Standard EULA. The QardioArm is no longer supported by its manufacturer, and Kuardio can't guarantee that every cuff, firmware version or iPhone will work. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.
